Bridgee needed a tissue...

Bridget's nose was running so I told her to go get a tissue. I thought she could handle that... shortly after I hear her lifting the toilet seat, I ran up stairs and yes... she did get a tissue!

apparently all she really needed was this much...

What I learned Today

I learned something new today.
As Josh was taking apart the "old" truck to swap to the "new" old truck, he showed me that a door handle can Lock, Un-lock, and open! Very interesting, the things that old trucks have!

Also we ordered some upholstery fabric for his seat. After it was ordered they said that it could take 2 to 6 weeks to get in. Josh's class is over in 7 weeks! So hopefully it's in within 2 weeks, or he'll have to find something different. What we have picked out I think will look really good. He's just worried about sewing sraight lines! I"m sure it will be fine! (fingers crossed)

Well I just thought I would enlighted you all on my new knowledge!

Imaginations

What to do with a mini baby, and shaped blocks? Why have a tea party of coarse!
I had Bridget down playing with her toys and watching Wall-E, I looked down to check on her while I was cleaning up the kitchen, and she had all the blocks lined up in a row and was taking turns "drinking" out of each one with her mini baby.

I guess it might be time for a real doll and a tea-party set! :)

The joys of having a girl!

This is a favorite of hers. To get her feet warm on the heater vent when its on.
(mine too!)

Hunting Eggs

Saturday afternoon we went to my parents for lunch and for Bridget and her cousins to find some eggs. I think, well I know that Bridget was way more excited to just be with her cousins and run aimlessly around than to actually FIND eggs. However, she did get quite the count of eggs, for not caring about the game!

Sunday, The Easter Bunny brought Bridget a new pink and purple bike, yes it is a big Easter, but The Bunny thought it would be better to have in the spring and summer than just in the Summer (birthday).
She is doing pretty good at peddling, mainly when she has momentum. Although in this picture, she was happier to just stand NEXT to the bike and say "cheese!"

After church we headed over to Josh's parents for lots more food, the was MOST EXCELLENT and a hunt with cousins Austin and Lizzy.
Bridget got soo many eggs she kept re-finding the eggs that would fall out of her overflowing basket.

We had a lot of fun, and I probably gained about ten pounds just on all the yummy food and CANDY!

The Day at the Aquarium

Instead of paying to walk around in the mud at Baby Animal Days, Josh suggested we go to the Live Planet Aquarium in Sandy. Heidi had just mentioned to us that she thought it would be fun to go to, so of course we invited her along with us.

We saw: Utah fish (yipee) frogs, a really BIG frog, an alligator, Nemo fish, Jelly fish... some see threw, and some upside down, we saw Sea Turtles, and Eels, and monkey frogs, and even an anaconda snake! They had an Octopus, and some Star fish, and Sea Horses. We saw a 40 lb. Lobster!!! it was HUGE! And Josh and I touched a Sting Ray... Bridget just splashed.

(Can you see the three Sea Horses and the little crab?)

We had fun, and I'm sure Bridget had fun even if she payed more attention to all the other little kids.

Fruit Loop Suprise

Ok This is my (Joshua) first post but i thought it was funny, so i couldn't rob you of this on right? So every morning i eat cold cereal and over the past few weeks i will eat fruit loops every now and then and when i do sometime i find a little surprise in my bowl. you see i think it must have been left out one morning and Bridget must have been eating pretzels..... and well ..... now i have pretzel suprise for breakfast. Kids are so funny!

Progression

Josh has been working on the front clip the last few days. He got it all ground out, and cleaned it with the acid stuff (I don't have any idea what he's doing) and last night he was POR15'ing it.

I am excited to see progression again. Hopefully it will keep progressing!

He started an Auto Upholstery class at Bridgerland a couple weeks ago. Everyone in the class will have their own "project" that they will have to bring in and work on, so Josh is going to get his seat re-covered through the class. Yeay!

Last night he came home with a "stadium" seat that they all made. The teacher wasn't very informative on where to stitch until after Josh was the first one to try, so he said:

It could have been better!

Last Night was Good!

So yes, it was a challenge with Bridget's bed conversion. The first night she fell out of her bed twice, so I decided it would be easier for her just to come to my bed than worry if she'd fall out again. The second night I went in to check on her a couple time. She seemed fine for the first 3-4 hours, but when I went in around 2 am she was UNDER her bed. So once again, I pulled her out and instead of letting her cry it out, I brought her to my bed.

Last night was awesome! no loud thuds, or cries, she was totally in her bed all night long! Amazing. Hopefully it continues.

Converting

Yeah, I may be taking this a little fast, but i decided after two nights of sleeplessness, I figured I would convert Bridget's bed into a toddler bed (since I haven't been sleeping anyways).
She was really excited about standing on the wire bed while I was adjusting it. When I got it all put back together, she didn't think that it was very fun that she could get up there on her own until I put her bunny and some books up there for her to read a story.

I was afraid that nap time would be a pain, but since I had just picked up everything so she wouldn't have much to play with, I put her in her bed and told her "night, night" and shut the door. She was about two steps behind me with crocodile tears streaming down her face. I didn't know what she would do, so I laid on the floor watching her footsteps at the door, then to her magnetic board, then over to the window, back to the door, and finally after about 15 minutes and whispering a ghostly "go to sleeeeep", she made her way over to her bed. She laid there for about 5 minutes, then "BUBBLE!" two minutes later I opened the door and she was asleep!

I hope every time will be this easy. (knock on wood)
