weekend fun

We had quite the eventful weekend with Josh finally having a day off! Friday we hung out waiting for the 2nd set of insulation people come to our house for about 4 hours. Josh had planned to go out camping in Wellsville, but since these guys took a while, and by the time we got back home from getting hot dogs and mallows from the store, it was already getting dark. So we camped in the back yard! Bridget LOVED it! She even ate all her hot dog, and roasted "burnt" her marshmallows all by her self!

Josh woke us up at 5:30 to head out to the dam before sunrise for a morning of fishing. A fish tugged on his line a bout a half hour after we had got there.

Josh pulled it out so Bridget could check it out. She was a little afraid of it flopping around, and was sad that it was "hurt".

Trying to keep her attention at it became a little hard after a while and she wanted to go to the slide that she could see across the dam. So I took her over to play while Josh kept fishing. After about 10 minutes we hear "wahoo!" from across the dam and then maybe 5 minutes later again... "wahoo!" I told Bridget that we had better go checkout what Dad was so excited about.

He had caught two more! We only kept two.

For all of you that know Josh, he does not like to gut his fish. However, I have proof that he attempted on his own. And yes, he was afraid of his sister in-law seeing this cause it's not the "right" way! HA HA!

We ended up taking the fish out to my dad. He said he would enjoy them, and later that night when they watched Bridget for us. And she even ate some too, and liked it!!!

Josh and I went to the Blaze game. It was interesting to watch arena football. Even though they lost, it was a great date!

Now just 4 more days until our grand vacation to California!! Wahoo!

Baby Animal Days

This year at the American West Heritage Center's, Baby Animal Days they had baby bear cubs. They were very cute, but couldn't really get a good look at them being bundled up in the care-takers coats. This was the cutest baby bear there anyway!

Bridget wouldn't touch the bunnies, piglets, or little chicks, but she didn't seem to mind the ponies and pigme goats. She REALLY liked the goats this year.

(don't mind the belly shot!)

Josh had to do a LOT of convincing with the ducklings. I think she liked them too, cause she is still talking about ducks.

Easter

With a cookie icepack in one hand, Bridget was still pretty quick at finding plenty eggs at Grandma & Grandpa's on Saturday. After a fabulous dinner, we headed with Grandma to insta-care where the Dr. was quick to "pop" Bridget's arm back into place. Then a quick stop to the stores plumbing isle to pick up parts to fix the unexpected leaking toilet at Grandma & Grandpa's. It was quite the eventful day.

The Easter Bunny hopped on by Sunday morning bringing Bridget a purple ball (dollar ball) that she scrame bloody murder over at Walmart a few weeks ago, and her very own sleeping bag... for the many sleepovers she is planning on having with Grandma! She also had little cupcake eggs that she had to find all over the house that the Bunny left.

At Nanna's on Sunday, we enjoyed a great dinner, home movies, SKYPE with Crystal's family, YUMMY cupcakes and cookies Nanna slaved over, and after naps, more eggs to find just before dark rolled around.

Whether there were tears of Joy and happiness or tears for the loss of loved ones, I am grateful for our Savior and his enormous about of compassion he has for me and you, and remember the true meaning of Easter and what it means for all of us.

Seriously HUGE

I'm afraid I'm going to either have a 12 lb. baby, or something else is growing in there, cause I have never felt so HUGE!
I feel this little baby kick me clear up in the ribs one second and the next clear down where I didn't think it was possible a baby could be at this stage.

SO uncomfortable!!!

Some of you wanted pictures... I don't know why...

This is how I grow.
