Christmas 2012

We celebrated our Christmas Eve with THIS crazy family... :)  (Heather and Bryan found their "ugly" sweaters just for tonight!)
Annette and the girls (I think worrying about sticking tongues to frozen poles.
Kaitlyn and Bridget helping pass out gifts from Grandma.
 Rem and her new Pup.
 Kaitlyn sitting in her loot.
Bridget super excited about her Mom, Sister and little sister barbies!
Bridget trying to help Nana open her gifts.
Kaitlyn loving Uncle Bryan... and his sweater.
Bryan's new "ask me to see my pet monkey" shirt Josh made for him.
Santa did come... and spoiled all of us.
The girls were so excited for the books (probably cause they weren't wrapped)

Kaitlyn confused about the dog toy.... (For Joey)

Bridget fearing the Justin Bieber underwear!  (We teased, and teased her about getting)
STOMPIES!  (still don't know why that's the thing she asked Santa for)

Bridget refusing to wear her new sock monkey hat... "I don't like monkeys, Kaitlyn does!"  (They both got them)
The thing Kaitlyn asked for "geem."  (game, a leapster)
Cinderella and her plush twinkling slippers
 CARDBOARD!
Josh and his excitement (that he opened weeks before Christmas, due to Amazon miss-hap.)
Jessica and her NEW Kindle Fire.
The girls being super confused to why a bed in a box so small... (and why they needed new beds)
The interesting packaging for a SPRING form matress

The reason, for the new matresses
Kaitlyn doing the reverse worm as she was all excited about the new beds!

Josh built the beds out in our over packed garage, so there's still work and re-work to do on them... I'm SUPER happy with how my quilts turned out!  Now I'm just crossing my fingers that we don't get bloody noses or something to stain them!
The Girls were so excited they sat on their beds pretty much the whole day after Christmas playing with toys and games.

My parents came around to each of our houses this year and brought gifts.  Mom spent hours making super soft cuddle blankets for us, and gave the girls some fun toys.  Later we went to their house for Dinner and to swap gifts with siblings.
Landon enjoying the nice aroma of my home made vanilla we gave to him and Kylie along with their gift card for the Man Store.  (they requested)
Mandi's family gave us SHADE for our deck, and the girls these scooters that they rode all over Grandma and Grandpa's house!  Now we just need the snow to melt a little so they can cruise around our neighbourhood!  :)  (or go back to Gma and Gpa's!  :)

After all the visiting, and the sleepless nights, the girls were out like our neighbourhood lamp post when we got home, and the next day I was all anxious to get the house picked up so I could try out my new Shark steam mop!

We have been blessed this year with good health, good job, (mine and Josh's :) ), amazing family and great friends!  We appreciate all of you in our lives, and
***I hope you all had a VERY happy Christmas and remembered our Savior in all the hustle and bustle.  Through HIM we have the opportunities and blessings that we have in our lives and need to remember to LOVE one another and GIVE love, hope, kindness, help... to those around us, and pray that we realize those opportunities and act upon them.

Happy, and Safe Holidays to all of you!

My baby bro got married!

Landon and Kylie FINALLY tied the knot after, what, 4 years?   Yes there were stressful times like with any wedding, but they pulled it together really well and everything was beautiful!  Kylie's mom made her amazingly beautiful dress.
It was raining when they came out, and at the Logan Temple, they have changed where you come out to this little garden area... very cute.  The temple worker had an umbrella right there for them to take out with them.
Landon was very excited to make the announcement "Hey guys... We're MARRIED!"

All the girls wore red, orange, and gold, with the guys in brown pants, tan shirts, and suspender.  Yes, Kylie and Landon battled through many arguments with the attire, but I think we all looked rather well!  Good job to Mom, and Kylie's Mom for slaving away at the sewing machine!

I didn't get any pictures with my camera of our family (obviously), so you'll have to wait on those, but here's Kylie's side. (getting instruction from the photographer)

I also did not get one of the sisters... But I got a few of the guys. Josh was determined to PUNK their pictures.

And I hope he feels good that I got one for him!  :)

While they were getting sealed, Josh was working on the car.  For some reason, the "O" in Landon's name got all mangle, but he fixed it later.

They had their reception at Tony's Grove Nursery.  It turned out very beautiful!  :)  Very festive for a nice October evening!

I did not have my camera card in my camera, so I will post some later from the photographer.

Congrats to Landon & Kylie!

First Day of School!

Bridget's first day of school was August 21st, where her dad got to go with her. It was only an hour and a half, but she got right into learning!  Her teacher (Mrs. Johnson)  read them a story about a baby and a daddy racoon, and they made a picture about it.

Kaitlyn was excited for Sis, she wanted to be right there with her!

There's always a project to be worked on

So after our trip to California where we crushed the front end with Semi truck retread, Josh finally found some time to take the whole thing apart.  I mean, he had to take the roof, side walls, bed ends, and the lift system off front and back.  He didn't need to fix the lift from the new damage, but it was bent when we bought it, so since he was taking most of it off anyway to fix the front piece, then he figured he would do both at that time.

I think it's a sad picture, and I know with out a doubt most of you think it looks like a piece of work, but it's a pretty simplified design that it's easy to take things off and put back together.  ***And it looks a million times cooler in person... from the inside!  :)
 Putting it back together.
After the roof was back on and the walls reattached, we replaced the rest of the wall paneling, well all but one piece and the kitchen stuff.

Withing all this, I brought Chinese home one night, and this was Josh's fortune.  We both laughed.  (I should make a post of all the things he IS working on. (Hobby)  or all the stuff that he gets deals on and has to buy even though he has 50 already... or maybe just a picture of the Garage would give this fortune a good laugh!  ...Oh geez!
