Beginning the Last 5 Year Project

Last summer Josh finally found a body to switch with his '68 truck. I told him he had two months to switch them and get rid of the other parts. (We collect trucks...not really) That was two months before Bridget was born. It has been a year and the project has just started. We all helped take things off... Well, mostly just sat and supported Josh wile he did it!

Bridget was very excited to help!

Josh is hoping to have the final truck done by winter. We will see...

Gone Fishin'

We both got fishing licenses this year and have been excited to use them. Although we both hate eating fish, the catch and release is fun. Especially if the fish jumps off for you!

Josh got off work Monday morning at 5:00 and came in to wake me up to go. I thought he was crazy for wanting to leave that early, so I told him to go find me a pole. About an hour later he came back and I was a little more excited to get up. (I'm not a morning person)
We went out to Wellsville Dam. We were there for about 4 hours. I caught two, Josh-Zero!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Josh wanted to plant a garden this year. I thought we were late planting so we started ours with starts. We planted...
  • Tomatoes
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Lettuce
  • Peas
  • Green, Red, and Banana Peppers
  • Cilantro
  • Onions
  • Watermelon
  • Cucumbers
  • Corn
  • Strawberries
So far it's been about a month and we have already lost the watermelon and strawberries due to the heat. Hopefully we get a good crop this year.

Dare Devil

Our little Booga-Bear has become a dare-devil! I think this is probably how she escaped from the shopping cart last week and landed flat bottom on the stores floor. Bridget and I were shopping for birthday supplies. We were up checking out and the cashier was trying to tell me that I had 7 of these box things, but I knew I had only 6. Then I hear the lady behind me say "OHHHH... She just fell out!" I look over on the ground and bridget was just sitting on the FLOOR like nothing had happened. I felt like a bad parent... but at the same time, I didn't want to be over charged!
