Rainy Day

Riding Again.

The Ride for the Fallen was this last weekend so once again for our anniversary we participated in the charity event.

When we left North Logan, it was very warm and sunny. By the time we got to Immigration Canyon, it was pretty chilly. As we were riding along Bear Lake we were pelted with huge hail. And by the time we were back through Logan Canyon, it was a pretty day again.

Although the weather may have not been the greatest, it was great to get out and ride. However it would have been better to be riding with those who were not there.

Being a Big Sister

Bridget loves being a big sister. She'll do anything to help Kaitlyn. She "shhhh's" her when she makes little noises, she says "It's ok little Bella" (I don't know where Bella came from), she likes to be a close as possible to her when she talks to her. She likes to feed her! I came up from folding laundry and Bridget was in the kitchen making a bottle for Kaitlyn. I don't know how many scoops she put in, but I think she felt like Kaitlyn needed Chocolate Milk, cause she had the syrup out. Also the other day she attempted to carry Kaitlyn across the kitchen, she go about 3 feet before I realized what she was doing. How do you tell a 3 year old they can't help!

Cache County Fair

We went to the fair. Bridget decided to use her tokens on Cotton Candy and this motorcycle ride. (I think this had to do with the fact that Josh finally registered his bike and just took her on a little ride again)
She was waiting to ride a ride or two with her cousins, but by the time they got there, Bridget was having coughing attacks. SO we left.

I think this ride was a little faster than we expected, but she still thought it was fun!

So Cool!

Haha... love this one!!! You can tell it was a little too fast for her!

This is her "scared, but not trying to show it", face.

Jack Concert

For Josh's birthday I got him tickets to Jack Johnson. We dropped the girls off at Mandi's house for the evening (even though Ryan thought this concert would be lame...) and headed to SLC. When we got there, we spread our blanket out on the lawn and headed down to the merch. booth for a water bottle and to check out their t's. They had booth's set up from local non-profit groups that you could go sign up to free stuff. They also had a small stage with who we thought was just small group performers. We stopped for a second to listen. When the guy got done with the song he was singing, he said, "Here's my friend Jack Johnson!" It ended up being him, G-Love (who was performing before), and Zach from ALO performing a few songs down on the small stage just before the show.

"You have good hygiene, Jack!" --- for sure one of the most random comments from the crowd!

Nothing better than being surrounded by awesome music, interesting people, and great company! :) Thanks for the date babe!

...and Bridget loves her shirt!

Oh we are so excited for Jack Johnson's concert next Friday! Josh got us our own T-shirts and have been listening to the new album like crazy! One more week!

My First Surgery

July 26th I went to Insta-care with pain in my abdomen that radiated through to my back. The Dr. there sent me to the E.R. where they could do blood work and have it back much faster. When we got to the E.R. and I sat there waiting after they had checked me in, the pain seemed not to be so bad. So when they took me back, put an I.V. in my arm and took some blood,I told them that I was feeling better, but they went ahead with the tests. After watching the Barbie movie twice with Bridget, they told me that my liver was bothered (not their words), and took me back for an ultrasound. While there, they found a whole bunch of Gallstones in my Gallbladder. I made an appointment with the surgeon for Wednesday. He told me that it was ideal to have my gallbladder removed. So Monday I went in, and came back out to recovery 45 minutes later.

(don't mind my stretch marks!!!)

They (E.R. Dr. and the Surgeon) told me that this happens quite often with pregnant women because of the hormone changes. So I guess I should feel lucky that I didn't have to deal with pain DURING my pregnancy!
