A Mouse in the House

Last week as I was doing the girls laundry (hence the mound in the room), The fan in the house was blowing through the vents and moving a diaper wipe container that was on top of it. Teasing Bridget, I told her to go get Dad out from the garage (hence the cover-alls) to come get the "mouse". She was scared, and I think Josh was a little nervous too until he saw the opportunity also!

Again... don't mind the clutter... I was doing the laundry!

We have fairies at our house!

So I went out to mow the lawn in to back. I guess it's been a while since I've been out back cause there were HUGE mushrooms! And a lot of them! I think they are gross, but Josh says they are good for the grass... not sure why that's good, but Bridget got excited when Josh told her there were fairies that lived out back! That would be cool.

Bridget's costume

I started Bridget's costume yesterday. I also decided that projects can be addicting! When I get into what I am doing, I hate being interrupted. Here's what I've been doing...

It's just about finished!

Josh's Craftiness

I forgot I was going to put this on the last post...

Josh started this project in the spring when he did the table.

(which I love even though it's not finished still.)

We got the plans from knock-offwood.com which is now ana-white.com. So many things I want to do (well have Josh do) from her plans. Lots of cute ideas.

Anyway back to the bookshelves...

He hauled them into our room to make sure there was enough room where we wanted to put it... it's still there. We still need to sand it down and paint it... but I love it. I find myself staring at it every night while feeding Kaitlyn! :) Thanks babe!

My re-purposing take on clothes

So after watching my sister and a few blogs take old shirts (mine) and make then into something for their daughters to wear, I made my first attempt. I picked up the shirt at ROSS for I think like $6 about 2 years ago. It has sat in my closet since. I decided that it was time to D.I. things and this one I figured it would be way cuter on Bridget than on me, so I made my attempt and this is how it turned out...

I even made little flower hair bows to match from the scraps I cut off.
