We pulled into camp just in time to get all set up before it was completely dark, but you better believe that Josh and Bridget were up and down at the lake first thing when they woke up!
Kaitlyn and I slept in a little longer and woke with some allergies. (of coarse)
Bridget has a hard time focusing on her fishing and got distracted by rocks, and sticks like this one...
When the girls were bored, they entertained themselves.
While Josh kept trying for those fish...
Taking a break for lunch, a few games, (Bridget made her own up with the spot it cards)
Kaitlyn and Josh (Dad) fishing
The girls entertaining themselves while Josh is fishing.
He was determined!
The things they do when they are bored.
Josh would come up and check the food, then go back down to check his pole. I don't think he wanted to miss them fish!
I entertained myself too.
I think Bridget's hands were cold...??? She has socks on them while being goofy.
The next morning Josh was up super early and at it again. The girls and I actually stayed sleeping for probably an hour or hour and a half snuggling in our warm beds while Josh was enjoying the chilly morning. Although, he did see some awesome wildlife I wish I would have seen.
The girls continued to entertain themselves with peaches after they ate waffles.
Later we joined Josh down at the lake. He was all upset. Apparently his story is ;) that he had a pretty big fish on his line and got it reeled into shore, thought, "How amy I going to get this out of the water, I didn't bring a net" ... (not his mom) and then the line snapped and the "huge" fish took off.
The girls were loving the water... Bridget loved casting her pole.
Josh thought that if he paddled out further into the lake, cast his pole, then feed the line all the way back to shore, that might do the trick...
His line got snagged about 5 minutes later.
The girls were antsy to go out on the water again, so Josh took them out.
Bridget was super excited to give dad his fathers day gift she helped me make all weekend, so she gave it to him early. (she couldn't wait one more day)
"World's Greatest FARTER... oops I meant father."
K bob and Bridget entertaining us with their talking bellies.
I took Bridget out for a ride cause she was needing some special attention.
In the mean time... That meant Kaitln got the hammock all to herself!
Bridget sat down by the lake this evening and saw all the fish jumping everywhere. she was so determined that she walked to this little "island" and sat there casting, and reeling, and casting, and reeling. She did get a little nibble, but I think she got excited and scared it.
It took a good ten minutes to convince her it was time to come in.
She gave us a concert (without words) lol it was interesting to watch.
Josh made his yummy cobbler after dinner. The girls were happy!
Bridget and Kaitlyn running up to the potty. (they were scared of the bears that they one the last day were warned about)
See Ya!!!
We wanted to hike up to this Hole in the Rock mountain.... but we wanted a nice shower worse!
