A Princess' Night Out

I have been having problems with Bridget listening, obeying, and just being nice.  After 3 days of being emotionally drained from being told that I was a "bad mom" and that I was hated, I realized that maybe Someone hasn't been shown enough attention.  Apparently the attention a parent shows can't easily be shared between siblings.  I have yet to learn all this stuff.
Last night I had a Princess' Night Out filled with surprise envelopes for her to open each place we went or activity we did.  The 1st envelope said "Every Princess needs to LOOK like a Princess."  I took her to Cookie Cutters kid hair salon to trim her hair.

She got to pick out her own movie that she wanted to watch, and the car she got to sit in.

She even got sparkles sprayed all over in her hair!

After wards her next envelope said that "Every Princess needs to dazzle and shimmer" So I took her to a bead store where she got to pick out her own beads for a necklace.  It took her quite a while because of all the cool "treasures" and fun stones they had there that we just brought them home to make for later instead of making it there.

The 3rd envelope said that "every princess has a good appitite" so she got to choose where she wanted to go for dinner.  And of coarse... it was McD's!
The last envelope "every princess needs something sweet", so she got to choose where she wanted to get ice cream at.   She said "Mc Dondalds!"  So I guess we killed to birds with one stone.

Before bed we watched Enchanted. I kept trying to get her to go to bed, and she kept telling me the upcoming scene that she wanted to watch.  Yep, she got to finish the movie and then we snuggled in her bed.

Bridget can definatly stand her ground and throw her punches, but I know that she is and will always be my little Princess. Best night in a long time.
