Kindergarten Graduation

Well, She made it!  Bridget Rae is no longer a Kindergartener!  She can now do mathfacts up to 10's, and 100's(the easy ones) She can read all her BOB books.  She can ALMOST stay in the lines when she colors (but most the time she's in a hurry) She can memorize poems, and the biggest accomplishment this year (that has nothing to do with school) She rides her bike everywhere without her "Little wheels".

I LOVED Bridget's teacher, Mrs. Johnson (Bridget would say, "Like Jack Johnson)
She is so good with every single child in her class, and really cared about the student's learning.
I got to help out get the weeks copies done every Tuesday.  Even though it was a little bit of a pain to do every tuesday morning with Kaitlyn, I think Bridget really thought it was cool that helped make some of those special projects they used!

The Graduation was on Friday May 31.

The kids recited a poem all together that was really cute.
Bridget receiving her diploma
R
 "Ya, I graduated."
Bridget LOVED that her cousin Lucy was in her class!  It made for an easy transition into a big new school experience to already have her best friend there!

The kids were super excited to throw their caps! ( I wasn't ready)

Bridget LOVES Mrs. Johnson!  I think she will be sneaking in to check up on her while she is in 1st grade!

SUMMER!

I know the last thing I posted was what I was looking forward to this summer... but now, SUMMER is HERE!

Josh was anxious to get the trailer out and see how it handled the winter, and drug us up Hardware Ranch for Memorial Day weekend.

Some of the Smith's came up for dinner.  Nicole and Brian were excited to camp with all their camping gear they got for their wedding!

Bridget was determined to roast her and Kaitlyn's dogs!
(I know it's sideways)  This little girl could not stay clean.  (But she did stay dry the whole time we were there cause she LOVED the porta-potty-hut Josh just got. (pictured below)
Nicole and Annette trying out the smores roaster Nicole and Brian had.
 Josh gathering wood.
Horseshoes is a must when we camp.
Bridget tried her hardest to get it all the way down there...
While Kaitlyn picked dried dandylions and gave mom and allergy attack!

The girls fought... and I think about an hour later while mom was napping, Kaitlyn gave Bridget one heck of a goose egg on her forehead from throwing one of these badboys at her.
 Josh chopping more wood.
We got home just in time for it to rain... well a few days later.. but this was the biggest and brightest FULL rainbow I had ever seen.  It was amazing. (wish I could have got it all in one, but it was more cool to see it so close (The picture really doesn't compare!)

Something New

I feel as if all that I have to "blog" about, I already say it on Facebook.  But for myself, here are things I would like to accomplish this spring...

De-junk the basement. (Mostly storage, that we don't need to be storing)
Window casings- I've deligated my dad to help me with this
Planters for my deck veggies- tomatoes, herbs, ect.
Start up the greenhouse growing-
Work the raised gardens
Maybe chop a tree down, and up root it.  The roots are growing unwanted suckers quickly!
Fix my cracks that my mudder didn't tape!
Sheetrock the Etsy room
Make some Etsy things for myself... (I have them in mind, just need time to do them)
Enjoy the heck out of my deck this year!

Thanks to Mandi and her family, I just remembered she gave me a big umbrella for Christmas that I am super excited to use!

And for a change of weather... Here are some things I'm looking forward too...

 Fishing

Camping

Watching Josh chase wild animals... (this was a rabbit)

 Swimming, and enjoying our yard

Hoping my orange trees will come back to be as plentiful as these...

 Have this, instead of this....

And Star Searching

These are a few of the things I'm looking forward to this year....

Christmas 2012

We celebrated our Christmas Eve with THIS crazy family... :)  (Heather and Bryan found their "ugly" sweaters just for tonight!)
Annette and the girls (I think worrying about sticking tongues to frozen poles.
Kaitlyn and Bridget helping pass out gifts from Grandma.
 Rem and her new Pup.
 Kaitlyn sitting in her loot.
Bridget super excited about her Mom, Sister and little sister barbies!
Bridget trying to help Nana open her gifts.
Kaitlyn loving Uncle Bryan... and his sweater.
Bryan's new "ask me to see my pet monkey" shirt Josh made for him.
Santa did come... and spoiled all of us.
The girls were so excited for the books (probably cause they weren't wrapped)

Kaitlyn confused about the dog toy.... (For Joey)

Bridget fearing the Justin Bieber underwear!  (We teased, and teased her about getting)
STOMPIES!  (still don't know why that's the thing she asked Santa for)

Bridget refusing to wear her new sock monkey hat... "I don't like monkeys, Kaitlyn does!"  (They both got them)
The thing Kaitlyn asked for "geem."  (game, a leapster)
Cinderella and her plush twinkling slippers
 CARDBOARD!
Josh and his excitement (that he opened weeks before Christmas, due to Amazon miss-hap.)
Jessica and her NEW Kindle Fire.
The girls being super confused to why a bed in a box so small... (and why they needed new beds)
The interesting packaging for a SPRING form matress

The reason, for the new matresses
Kaitlyn doing the reverse worm as she was all excited about the new beds!

Josh built the beds out in our over packed garage, so there's still work and re-work to do on them... I'm SUPER happy with how my quilts turned out!  Now I'm just crossing my fingers that we don't get bloody noses or something to stain them!
The Girls were so excited they sat on their beds pretty much the whole day after Christmas playing with toys and games.

My parents came around to each of our houses this year and brought gifts.  Mom spent hours making super soft cuddle blankets for us, and gave the girls some fun toys.  Later we went to their house for Dinner and to swap gifts with siblings.
Landon enjoying the nice aroma of my home made vanilla we gave to him and Kylie along with their gift card for the Man Store.  (they requested)
Mandi's family gave us SHADE for our deck, and the girls these scooters that they rode all over Grandma and Grandpa's house!  Now we just need the snow to melt a little so they can cruise around our neighbourhood!  :)  (or go back to Gma and Gpa's!  :)

After all the visiting, and the sleepless nights, the girls were out like our neighbourhood lamp post when we got home, and the next day I was all anxious to get the house picked up so I could try out my new Shark steam mop!

We have been blessed this year with good health, good job, (mine and Josh's :) ), amazing family and great friends!  We appreciate all of you in our lives, and
***I hope you all had a VERY happy Christmas and remembered our Savior in all the hustle and bustle.  Through HIM we have the opportunities and blessings that we have in our lives and need to remember to LOVE one another and GIVE love, hope, kindness, help... to those around us, and pray that we realize those opportunities and act upon them.

Happy, and Safe Holidays to all of you!
