new back yard

I finished my back yard project. (for now) after two weeks of laying sod, tilling the side gardens, and filling them with bark, my (half) project cost us $30.00! was a bargain. I guess it's worth the blistering toes and palms.
where the (junk) is, will be a continuous garden. All where the bark is will hopefully one day have trees to shield the neighbors beaming garden lights in the middle of the night, and some pretty bushes and flowers, but until I have more money, this is what I get.
Oh and the grass will continue were that mound of dirt is as well.

EXCITING!

IT's a BOY!

Josh finally fills like he isn't so female'd out anymore. We got us a new kitty. We still haven't given him a name yet, but I personally like Willow. Only for the fact that if he's lost Bridget and Josh will be yelling out "w-i-l-l-o-w!!!"
Not really, but I do like it.
I personally don't really care for cats, but it will hopefully help out with the field mice problems.
Bridget was very excited about getting a kitty, but not so much getting close to one. She is mainly concerned that he will "get" her SHOES.
The first day we brought him home, she would just look at him, not touch him, but now she feeds him his food by hand!

At least Joey gets a break! We took him to Bear Lake a few weeks ago and he just sat there while she dumped sand on his head. What a Trooper!

Summer TIME!!!

We are very excited for all this warm weather! Bridget, mostly for the sake of popsicals, sandals, new sunglasses, and her frog pool!!! I filled it the other day, but it was too cold, so she would just crouch with her bum barely touching the water, then jump up.

I think she found the fan sprinkler more fun today. She didn't like when the drops fell on her, but she had a blast touching the streams with her fingers and toes.

Oh, what I would give to be a kid again!

Once again...

Yes. A girl who LOVES lipstick!

Laying it down,

YEAY!!!

So yes we did get it all in, and we ended up with a lot more than we thought, so it covered all but about 3 feet of what we wanted to do all together, however, we had to rake and pull rocks as we went since we had more than I have planned on. BUT, It's all but done now!

Hopefully we will get some rocks in this week around the patio-deck areas, and maybe the flower/tree gardens in sometime soon, and it will look more like a yard.

Progression in always exciting.
